This chapter synthesizes some of the central findings presented in the ensuing chapters. In the first section we discuss some of the key concepts; part two outlines the main trends in the developments of the women's movements across the region and identifies their main priorities. We conclude the chapter with a discussion of the recurring/futurechallenges of Arab women's movements.
