What life was like for Alexandrians during the North African campaigns: first-person oral histories of the social life, bombardments, family events, multicultural society of Alexandria. Italians, Greeks, Egyptians, French and the English all mixed together in this famously cosmopolitan city made even more international by the influx of foreign soldiers.
