This chapter provides an overview of the Bohairic liturgical texts related to St. Shenoute. A comparison of the psalis and the doxologies of St. Shenoute shows that the doxologies are an important source on the Life of Shenoute. The psalis are of late dates. They are attributed to Nicodemus of the 17th to 18th centuries and Gabriel who was also a contemporary of Nicodemus. The authors of the psalis did not have firsthand knowledge of the life of Shenoute. The chapter demonstrates once more the importance of the book of Glorifications as a source and witness of Coptic literary texts.
